Questions

Is Tempest Free a trial?
No. Tempest Free is free permanently, on one synced device, with SSH, Mosh, SFTP, FTP, S3 and WebDAV. Nothing expires and no card is required.
What happens to my hosts and keys if I stop paying?
They stay exactly where they are. Downgrading switches off syncing, the AI agent and the Pro-only protocols. It never deletes a host, a key or a vault. Subscribe again and everything is where you left it.
Can you see my passwords, keys or SSH sessions?
No. Credentials are encrypted on your device before they are ever uploaded, with a key we do not hold. SSH connections are made by the app on your machine and never pass through our servers. What we sync is ciphertext we cannot read.
How many devices does Pro cover?
As many as you sign in on. Pro is per person, not per device, across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, the web version and the CLI.
What are the AI limits?
Every plan with Storm AI includes a daily allowance. Past that you can bring your own model and provider key, in which case there is no limit and no usage charge from us, or buy credits as you need them.
How do I cancel?
From wherever you bought it: the App Store or Google Play subscription settings if you purchased on mobile, or the billing portal in your account for direct purchases. Cancelling stops the renewal. You keep Pro until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Can I get a refund?
Buy directly from us and you have 7 days to ask for a full refund. Just write to [email protected]. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple and Google under their own policies; tell us if you get stuck and we will help.
How does Team billing work?
One subscription for the whole team, billed monthly, minimum 3 seats. You assign and unassign seats yourself, and anyone holding one gets full Pro on all of their own devices.
Can I run Tempest on my own servers?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan: Docker or Kubernetes, with your own vault isolation, SSO and audit logging. Contact sales and we will walk through it.
