Where Xshell is still right

We would rather you kept a tool that fits than switched and regretted it.

A workflow built on Xshell's scripting engine will not port cleanly. Snippets and scheduled runs cover the common cases, not a thousand lines of VBScript.
An all-Windows shop with a site licence and no mobile requirement is not paying a real cost for staying.
Rlogin, if you still need it, is not supported here.

Frequently asked questions

Is Xshell free?
Xshell is free for home and school use with registration; commercial use requires a licence. Tempest has a permanent free plan and a paid Pro tier for the advanced protocols and sync.
Does Xshell run on macOS?
No. It is a Windows application; NetSarang does not ship a macOS build.
Can Tempest replace Xftp too?

What about Xshell's scripting?

Does my data leave my machine?
